Privacy statement

B.Nosy processes personal data in the context of its activities. This Privacy statement & Cookie policy (hereinafter: "Statement") has been drawn up to inform B.Nosy customers, B.Nosy suppliers, visitors to B.Nosy's website and other persons who contact B.Nosy (for example, by means of the contact form on B.Nosy's website) about the processing of their personal data by B.Nosy. B.Nosy is responsible as referred to in Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the processing of personal data as described in this Statement.

Personal data we process

B.Nosy processes the following personal data of the categories of data subjects mentioned in the introduction of this Statement:

• First and last name
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Address details
• Phone number
• E-mail address
• Employer and position (in case of suppliers)
• IP address
• Data about your activities on our website
• Internet browser and device type
• Bank account number

B.Nosy obtains this personal data because you provide it to us when you use our services, or because it is collected when you use our website.

You are in no case obliged to provide your data to B.Nosy. However, if you decide not to provide your data, we cannot offer you our services (in full).

Special and/or sensitive data we process

B.Nosy does not intend to process special and/or sensitive personal data, or to collect personal data from website visitors who are younger than 18 years of age. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 18. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at klantenservice@b-nosy.com and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data

B.Nosy processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Handling your payment
• Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
• To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to perform our services
• To inform you about changes to our services and products
• To offer you the possibility to create an account
• To deliver goods and services to you
• Offering our website
• Obtaining information about the use of our website

We may use your personal data for the above purposes because you have given us permission to do so, because it is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you and/or because it is necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests.

Automated decision-making

B.Nosy does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or systems without human intervention (e.g. an employee of B.Nosy).

How long we retain personal data

B.Nosy does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. In general, we apply the following retention periods for personal data:

• customer data will be kept for up to 2 years after the end of the customer relationship;
• messages sent via the online contact form will be deleted after the message has been dealt with;
• tax data will be kept for up to 7 years after collection of the data.

Access to your personal data

B.Nosy handles your personal data with care. This also means that your personal data is (internally) only accessible to our employees to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties for the purposes mentioned in this Statement.

B.Nosy only provides your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. For the execution of our agreement with you, you can think of the processors we engage, such as our software suppliers. For provision based on a legal obligation, you can think of providing your data at the request of, for example, the judiciary or the tax authorities. When providing personal data to third parties, B.Nosy will, where possible, ensure that it has taken appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data.

In principle, we do not process your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If this is the case, we will endeavour to comply with the conditions laid down by law.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

To help you better and to be able to make a targeted offer, we use cookies to improve your user experience on the website. Cookies are text files that your device or browser stores when you visit our website. B.Nosy may also use techniques similar to cookies, such as tracking pixels, flash cookies, Java scripts, tags and web beacons. We classify these techniques under the term cookies.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete data (or have it deleted). In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by B.Nosy and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to yourself or a third party. You can send a request for access, correction or deletion of your personal data or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to klantenservice@b-nosy.com. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we may ask further questions to verify your identity. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

B.Nosy takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes. B.Nosy may change or replace this Statement at any time. For this reason, we advise you to consult this Statement regularly so that you are aware of the latest state of affairs. In the event of substantial changes, B.Nosy will inform you of these changes.
